As online gaming comes into its own, great numbers of MMORPGs are regularly released. Most of these MMORPGs are enjoyed by online gamers for free. Due to this convenience, MMORPGs have been truly a gaming addiction to everyone, and they are mainly bringing a great appeal to the teens. And as a result of this compulsion to gamers, there are actually a variety of player types that can be observed in any Massively-multiplayer online role-playing game. Here are the five types of RPG players that you can encounter online.
1. The Overachiever
When a new MMORPG is released, an overachiever will usually be the first in line to register and play. They are those who are in a hurry to take quests and are very eager to level up. Well, everybody does love to level up, but these players are those who you expect to spend real cash to buy coins, items, or power-ups that they could use upon the game.
2. The Animated Explorer
MMORPGs are epic. Yes. Their themes are usually unworldly and amazingly fashioned. Those players who love to see the sights, travel and trek around the MMORPG map are the explorers. They enjoy and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings by even taking a screenshot of the beautiful spot they love along with their adventurous character.
3. The Ultimate Fighter
Another way of gaining fame in any MMORPG is by kicking ass. Well, when you have actually dueled and won over a hundred-million times in any MMORPG, the tendency is that your character will surely be famous. These are the ultimate fighters. They spend most of their time in PvP (Player versus Player) and clan wars.
4. The Fashion Lover
Since it is a role-playing game, a character’s appearance can be customized in different ways. Moreover, players can also choose from a variety of costumes that would surely fit their fashion. Fashion lovers are those players who grab the newest fashion item and immediately dress it to their characters. Well, most MMORPG girls are like this, whereas there are only few boys who don’t care much about how their characters look. They, indeed spend more of their coins in buying gears and armors.
5. The Social Butterfly
Usually, to free oneself from boredom, or do inquiries from some pros, players interact with others. Social butterflies are those who spend most of their online time in MMORPG chatting in parties, clans, and private messages. They love chatting not only about anything on the game but also any other interesting topics beyond that.
These five types of players are very apparent in any MMORPG. They might have different responses to the game, but one thing could be true to all of them. That is, MMORPGs are really addictive. Right? So, can you now classify yourself?

You left out the scammers, hackers, hecklers, spammers, and generally people who play just to trouble all the other player types. LOL.. Seriously there are those types, and mind you they are not exclusive to MMO’s only. You have them in FPS’s as well. Great job though, I fancy myself as #1 and #5. This happened when I was playing Perfect World. LOL XD

i am number 3..i get bored fast if a mmo doesnt have alot of pvp action to.i think pve is for geting some stronger eq and only pve i like is huge bosses and dungeons with party.but PVP is my religion
